Afternoon

There will be a tea party this afternoon. Guests have not arrived yet. I wander among chairs and tables covered with white cloth. The wind is warm and gentle. Sun shines through porcelain cups... I keep thinking about the letter and I can't help smiling. There's a promise in it.

После полудня будет чаепитие... Гости еще не прибыли и я брожу среди белых скатертей и стульев. Дует теплый легкий ветерок, а солнце просвечивает сквозь фарфоровые чашечки... Я все думаю о том письме, и не могу сдержать улыбки... В нем - обещание.
